INTRODUCTION
Trinity Evangelical Free Church was a church-planting endeavor that began in 1983. It began as the vision of four couples who desired to establish an evangelical church which would provide a solid, biblical-teaching ministry and a healthy church family which would equip people for Christian living and service.
The Lord brought quick growth in a short amount of time. In addition to the many committed and gifted people that God brought into our midst, the church was able to purchase the seven-acre plot of land now used for its present facilities. The Sanctuary was completed in 1987. The Impact Center was erected in 2000.
The purpose of Trinity from the beginning has been stated in four essential, on-going goals. They are as follows:
1. To glorify God through worship and fellowship
2. To establish an equipping ministry
3. To be a caring fellowship
4. To communicate the Gospel in accordance with the Great Commission
Special emphasis at Trinity has been given to providing an equipping ministry. Equipping refers to helping believers become established in their personal relationship with Christ and helping them grow in their ability to serve Christ and minister to others. We want to see people become all that God intended them to be when He gave them gifts, abilities, and grace.
VISION
Equipping people for a world-wide ministry. Ephesians 4:12
