TALK TO YOUR FRIEND
Prayer is simply talking to God just like you would talk to your very best friend. God cares deeply about each and every one of our problems and is just waiting for us to come to him with those problems.
WHY IS SO MUCH PRAYER NEVER ANSWERED?
Because we center on the problem and not on God. We tell God what to do. We talk about only the problem and not about the greatness of God. We need to praise God! Don't talk in terms of "me" and "I". Always keep the problem God centered, and not problem centered.
HOW TO TALK TO GOD
When you talk to God he doesn't want the same prayer over and over. God doesn't want to hear memorized prayers that someone else wrote. He wants to hear your prayers, coming in your own words, and coming straight from your very own heart. Talk to God as if he were sitting with you like a friend.
YOU MUST BELIEVE
Have you ever know someone that has their prayers answered? I know someone like that. This person has an unbelievable trust in God and God answers this person's prayers. If you have a personal and strong relationship with God, He will be be overly happy to please you as you want to please Him. It all comes down to the relationship.
Always say thank you, ask for forgiveness, then lay out your heart to God for whatever you need. Just make sure that what you are asking for will give God his glory, and then ALWAYS end your prayer in Christ' name.
