I would like to see a study between parents and teens dealing with the subject on:' How to get along!, Why do we parents correct them. How to understand their feelings, example why do I react to you Mom or Dad when I am yelling at you even so I do not understand Why I am doing it. Why is it important to listen to my parents and to do the right thing by following their lead."
If there is a study out there which brings both sides to the table, it would be very helpful to us parents and our kids from the age of 10 through the teenage years. Even better lets break up the group between middle and high school.
I believe that a study like this would open the eyes on both side, make it easier to deal with each other. Communication is the key, with help of God's words as an arbitrator, we going to accomplish God's peace in our homes.
