Isaias, a seminary graduate and former Pastor, serves as the director of advanced education. He is a native Mam speaker who was born in the Comitancillo area, and received his degree from SETECA (seminary) in Guatemala City. He has served as a pastor/teacher for several years in the city, and responded to a call to join the team in Comitancillo to help develop curriculum and begin classes for Pastors desiring to further their education beyond the basic two year diploma in Bible, which has been the only training available for men and women called to minister among the Mam.
